EFI conversion wiring questions

I'm swapping in the EFI from a '90 Mustang into my 1982 F250.

IIRC, the red/lt green wire from the ignition switch to the coil uses a resistor to drop the voltage? I'm leaning toward using a relay to light the coil/TFI off the white/lt blue or EEC relay instead. Do I need a resistor with EFI? I don't see one on any of the diagrams.

For the Neutral Safety Switch (pin 30) EEC connection, I was just going to splice in the red/lt blue wire at the starter solenoid. Any worries with that?

If it is a square coil, it will take fully voltage 12-14.5 VDC.
But you can put this off until it is running and measure the coil + voltage at idle to see if you need to mess with it. I am running a square coil with about 10-11 volts at the coil + at idle and it works fine.
