Has anybody attempted a steering knuckle swap from an earlier Dana 60, say, from a '95 F350 with serviceable wheel bearings, to their Super Duty? Doing some quick research, the ball joints are the same. The brakes are slightly different. I also know that the wheel lug pattern is a little different as well. The axle stub shaft is longer, IIRC, on the older trucks. I can work past those issues.
What I am not sure of, is the sizing of the tie rod ends. I know they use different tie rods, but so long as the tapered holes are the same size, I should be able to use the existing tie rods on my Super Duty.
I already have Superwinch locking hubs installed on my trucks, and I know they will fit the older knuckles.
