Hi All,
Does anyone know of an aftermarket replacement for the plastic spoiler under the front bimper? and/or what would it cost?
the ends are cracked and drooping on my 96 xl and is the only thing detracting from the looks of my ride..
Thanks in adv.

Tear that ugly plastic spoiler off. It's ugly and taking it off enhances the look of the front end by 10 fold. It gives the front end a much higher and meaner look. That spoiler is just plain unattractive in my opinion.

ok I guess that everyone is entitled to there own opinion...
that being said, I went the local dealership today and the dude said he had 2 in stock and they listed at 46.00 each. but he'd let me have it for 38.00.
Once it warms up I'l be puttin one on....

yo Joe,
Aside from the yards, Cervini's has a chin spoiler for $149.00 +s/h.
But it has cut-outs for fogs and isn't painted.

Seems to be nice, but it says it doesnt come with any mounting hardware. What would that consist of, and would the hardware that is holding my stock one on work?? I want to get fog lights on my 96 EB. Also, any ideas on good fog lights? Ive seen some pretty crappy ones in my day

I ended up pulling mine off so I could mount a couple of tow hooks onto the frame under the front bumper. The spoiler was in the way. I accually had to notch out the bumper a little to fit the hooks.
I was up at the winter fun fest in Grassvally, and one of the requirments was to have some kind of attachment point up front. Without shelling out several thousand dollars for a winch and new pumper, The tow hooks was the cheapest way to go. This was only if I had to pull some one out from the front, or (god forbid) if I got stuck, some one could pull me out from the front.

Thanks for the input from all of you, I think it'll be the one from the ford dealer as it is an OEM part. and at 38.00 I think it'll be hard to go wrong.
AIM, I did look at the one you posted but I dont think I'll need any thing that advanced since the curbs in this area "usualy" dont get that high and I tend to not be too radical in my driving style either, but thanks.
