Transmission service

Be careful when having your fluid changed with a torque shift transmission as stated here many times you must use sp or lv fluid Just had mine done at Local major ford dealer (World ford Pembroke pines) and they used Mercon v Called service manager after getting home he said we put mercon v in everything never heard of any other fluid. Thanks to this great fourm I caught it and he was wrong. They will now be responsible for any future transmission damage I wonder how many f250's are running around out there with the wrong fluid Thanks to all those who provide all the great information.

Take it back to them and have them flush it! If you have to call, the district Ford guy from THAT dealers shop. INSIST on talking to him...... use their phone.
