4.0 SOHC Valve Guide part#
my 02 4.0sohc swallowed a intake valve minimal damage
i ordered valve 2L2Z6507-AA
Retainer F77Z-65140AB
Spring 2L2Z6513AA
ALL THE SAME EXCEPT GUIDE ---F77Z6510 AE
This guide presses in the head but the hole is too small for the valve to go thru it.The dealer ordered 2 and both the same (wrong) first claiming miss packaged and then faulty part obviously there is a different part # any help is appreciated

Just take rhe cylinder head to a decent machine shop and have them ream the guide to size, you will have to get that valve and seat ground to specs at that time also. It shouldn't cost more than about $50.00 for the job, depending on your locality.

That's normal. You're supposed to ream the guide to fit the valve stem in order to achieve the correct side to side clearance.
