Hi all, can someone tell me: On the engine block where the motor mount bolts to, what other engines share thier block pattern with the 351/400M motors. Where the motor mount actually bolts to the block, NOT where it bolts to the frame, Thanks.
Don't take my word for it, but if I remember correctly, the 351m/400 mounts are different than anything else.........someone will come along and correct me, I hope, this is an interesting question that the answer will come in handy for......
I am pretty sure that the 351M/C and 400 motor mounts are the same that were used on all the windsor blocks as well and possibly the 240 and 300 I6 blocks
The 351m/400 has a different mount than the windsors. The 351c has the same as the windsor series. The 351m/400 has three bolts that are on the angle of the block. The clev.&windsor have two bolts that are on bosses facing straght down. it is possible that 429/460 blocks may share the same motor mount pattern as the 351m/400. I dont have one of them to check.
