1999 Expy 4 by 4 problems

So we just bought a 1999 Expedition Eddie Bauer a couple weeks ago and went to use 4 by 4 tonight and it would not engage but the indicator lights came on. When I tried to put it back into A4WD the indicator lights on the dash stayed lit indicating it was in 4hi but it was still in 2wd and never went into 4hi or 4lo. Anyone have this issue before or know where I should start looking?

Try checking the shift motor fuses first. Then head towards the shoft motor itself.

Our expedition did not come with an owners manual, I was wondering if someone could give me the numbers of the fuses that relate to the shift motor. Thanks
