I got an issue with my 03 6.0L Ex. Recently the headlights will flicker no matter the RPM's. I thought it might be my Alternator or my batteries so I had them tested at the parts store and they were all good. Now the entire guage cluster will go haywire while driving and stopped. Sometimes it will just go out and other times all the guages will do a "test run" then zero out. Any ideas?
Here read this link, and hopefully it is as easy as that. If that wire is ok, then it is something more than I would be able to help with. I'm sure others will be in to add suggestions. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/7...uestion-3.html
Thanks for the link. I'll check it as soon as I can. I talked to a buddy that said his 00 did the same thing and it was his speed sensor, so I'll check that to.
Good to hear that it was such an easy fix, now that fte knows about it.
Thanks to all who have had this happen, found the problem and documented it for the rest of us to use. I have it bookmarked, because it is still a common problem, even though when I checked mine it was good.
