So I've gotten into trucks and convinced dad to do a project with me. What we've got is a 65 ford 250 in good condition that has been sitting in the garage for way too long and a 10k budget to do whatever to it. I'm just looking for suggestions so put yourself in my shoes and tell me what you would do.
Not sure if you have had trucks before or even old trucks before, but I suggest getting it running and using it for a bit before sinking too much money into it. These trucks are a alot different than cars and an F250 is even more so -heavier and stiffer. Once you drive it for a while, you will know whether or not you will be wanting to fix it up nicer and drive it more. 10k is a lot of money to put into something that you may not enjoy driving.
Now on the otherhand, if you have had trucks before and like driving them, then enjoy the adventure. A ftaher/son project is priceless for the memories. Good luck
Ive grown up with trucks, sorry I should have said working on trucks, offroading, showing off trucks, whatever. 10k is a lot to spend but the idea is to not hold back from what we want- I don't really want to spend it all but if its cool why not?
Personally I want to build it up and throw it in the woods but dad said no to the woods so Im looking to see what others would do if they had this opportunity. By the way just because its not going into the woods doesn't mean we wont lift it.
