92 E4OD acting strange

92 E4OD acting strange
My 92 7.3 has started to behave oddly lately.
Between 45 and 60 miles per hour it seems like it is intermittently down shifting, just a little momentary change in the rpm by about 200 rpm up and down real quick.
If I disengage the OD switch the difference is much more in RPM so it doesn't seem like it is slipping from OD to lower gear.
It is especially noticeable on a flat piece of road with no load on.
Kind of like if it was going from high idle to low idle.
Fluid looks good and where it should be on stick, I have checked the plugs on the trans case.
Vehical has about 32,000 miles original on it, F450.
Any ideas?
