Cab light layout

I'm looking for a diagram to locate the factory cab lights on the roof. If not, maybe someone can take some measurements.

Also wondering if there should be an optional wiring harness terminated for cab lights.

It is for my '93. I think an 88 should be the same though. When ever you get around to it. I'm in no hurry, just making plans at this point.

Thanks,
Jason

On my 91'

They are 3.5" from the windshield recess (following the shape of the cab), the middle one is centered, they are 12" OC.

-Enjoy

Do the factory lights have the mounting holes on the sides, external from the lens? I'm looking at some Truck Lite replacements, but I'm not sure if they are the correct ones.

Thanks,
Jason

Just had this topic at our GTG.

Ford used the same cab lights from the 70's till 97.

Henry Ford said it himself...

I forget the exact quote now, it was ~40 years ago when I did a paper on him.
But he said something like:
"When I find something that works, I stick with it!"

My favorite Ford saying is "thinking is one of the hardest jobs there is. That is probably why so few engage in it" lol. Man it is as true now as it was then.
