Could the engine be over heating because of poor coolant circulation? Maybe the coolant pump is toast... Are you able to monitor coolant temperature? Overheating will cause puking too.
Just the gage in the dash. It never reads over about 1/2.
If i push it it pukes. if i drive regular i still loose water.
Thinking i may take it to a dealer to make sure it's heads before i tear into it.
Anybody have any idea what that will cost?
Here are a couple more thoughts you may want to consider before going to a dealer.
First, I would make sure the T-stat is installed. It can get overlooked and what you are discribing sounds like a possibility.
Next, I would bring the motor up to normal temp and check the radiator. With that many miles you may need to replace. It is normally easy to check but the 6.0 has so much crap in front of it that it may not be easy. Normally you just put your hand on the front of the radiator and make sure it is hot at the top, warm in the midle and cool at the bottom. If not, it is probably blocked internally.
Make sure the AC condenser's fins are not bent over. That will significantly restrict airflow to the radiator. You can buy a fin rake to straighten them out. While you are at it, I would also check the IC.
Finally, with that many miles you may want to consider a new water pump. The impeller is pressed on to the shaft and sometimes come loose and don't circulate sufficient coolant.
when i did my heads, i had no puking issues ever. i just did them for my own peace of mind. when i sent them out to get checked, they were warped .004" but all the pitting on them from hard water use, they ended up having to remove .008" off both heads. almost ALL the time, the heads have to be resurfaced.

if you have a coolant pressure tester put it in line in a "T" fitting on the coolant hose from the degas bottle to the radiator then run the the hose coming out of the "T" fitting into your cab and connect it to the pressure tester. monitor presure at WOT on the Highway. Drastic pressure changes at WOT over 16 PSI and i'd say you got a glown head gasket seeing as it can't be your EGR cooler because you don't have one. Also on the Highway without this set up listen for a wistle or buzz from the radiator cap as the cooling system is getting over pressureized. this happens because of high boost in the combustion chanber pushing pressure into the cooling system where the gasket is blown. coolant my flow into your cylinder and cause white smoke but what people dont know is that the high combustion pressure work the oposite way and over pressureize your coolant system. Easy cheap test. tell up how it goes and im sure we can tell you its headgaskets.
