Relay question - 1968F250LWB
Russell, I finally traced out what the two boxes on the passenger side were (ok, I broke down and bought a ’68 wiring diagram too.) The big box is a relay and the little box is a circuit breaker. They are used for the marker lights on the front fenders. This relay power also goes into the Camper Special harness for powering more marker lights if you have ‘em.
The same relay and breaker are used for the marker lights on the Stake & Platform (flatbed) pickups which have a ton of marker lights. The breaker is rated for 20 amps, pretty cool, huh?
