I'm guessing this is on the 2002 Explorer in your profile. If you want to get a feel for which door switch is the culprit, a professional scan tool would be the easiest way. They have the capability to access the GEM module and look at each of the door switch inputs and report "Open" or "Closed."
If you don't have access to this type of scan tool at a reasonable cost, then you could find a wiring diagram for the GEM and, using a multimeter, back probe each of the switch inputs to see which one is hanging up. I have the factory wiring diagram for the 2002 model year at home if you need me to dig up the wiring diagram.
I have a code scanner that won't tell me which door it is and don't want to buy another one.
I have the wiring diagrams and a meter so i guess I'll have t go that route.
thanks for the help.
