Check with FTE member Gangstakr, he might have a correct 1962 grille. I see you are in CA, Gangstakr lives in Hemet.

1962 Standard Cabs came with a painted grille, Custom Cabs came with an anodized aluminum grille. This was also true for 1963/66's. The 1961 Custom Cab grille is chromed steel.

1961/62 will interchange, 1963/64's will also fit, but have different parking lights.

1965/66's will fit, but the parking lights are in the upper grille panel, so you will need this panel and the lamps to install a 1965/66 grille in a 1961/64.

The wiring will also be different.

Just to add;
Some where on this forum; under tech articles I believe there's a photo of all truck from say 48 -thru 72 or so; each showing a black & white version of the front grille's of each truck by year.
Havn't research it but this might spark someone alot brighter than I to post that pic.

I told you to confirm which grille you wanted, you were'nt sure of the picture number. I never received an email from you or a call. I won't be available for the next week and a half. Sorry
The only pictures of grilles you still need to see are 63 and 64
If you go to the gallery section on this page and look at 63's and 64's you'll know what you want. I sent you pictures of 61-62-65-66 I'm still not sure what you want, and I don't think your sure. Keep looking

Here is the best year grill a 63

This is the Garbz trademark grill. I have built a few of them.

For your truck you may want to look outside the truck line. Steve of Industrial chassis has a 63 merc car grill shortened and installed in a chromed 63 surround and a custom front bumper.
