engine oil temp

I have a 04 f250 with a 6.0 24k miles . what is a good coolant temp
and oil temp split
driving home from work air temp 85f 65 mph engine temp 193 oil temp 199

From what I have read. You want to keep the split lower than 15 degrees. Oil temp not more than 15 degrees higher than coolant.

Your temps are great.

Your temps are good. As just stated, no more than 15* split with the eot being the higher of the two.

Mine runs 2 to 5 degrees difference at 80 degrees unloaded, 192/196. Same conditions pulling my 12000# fifth wheel it runs around 10 degrees 198/208
