Filters
Guys do ALL of the filters in this kit meet OEM specs?Air and oil appear to but not sure about the fuel filters.

A: The Donaldson version of the air filter has a white natural fiber media, the motorcraft version has a blue synethic media which is water resistant, you want the water resistant one. Donaldson is the OEM manufactuer but their version is different.
B: The box it shows for the oil/fuel are donaldson stamped, racor is the OEM manufactuer on these items. You want the racor ones.
C: The fuel filter kit it shows is the old version w/o the gasket at the end. You want the updated version.
Conclusion: Just go to dieselfiltersonline.com, they have real good prices, fast shipping and you know what you're getting

I'm not sure but the savings is only $23.69 counting shipping cost to KY over the same components (Donaldson air - Racor fuel & oil) from DieselSite. For me it's not worth the risk. I'm all about saving some bucks but not at the risk of costing me big dollars in the future or breakdowns on the side of the road. Just not worth the hassle.

thanks for the replys guys.I went ahead and purchased all three filters from the local ford dealership.
I dont know why but we sure get railed on those filters here in canada.
The total cost before tax was (are you ready for this) 239.33.
I think you can see my reason for trying to get them a little cheaper.
The closest major center to me is at least 50 miles away so the idea of them being delivered to my house was kind of interesting.
diesel filters online will be guaranteed my buisness in the future.
