So long story short my girlfriend and i and pulling into Grand Terrace Ca. Late Saturday night with a horse trailer. We are purchasing two horses on Sunday. We need somewhere to pull into and sleep in my trailer. We were thinking of just hitting a Walmart parking lot, if someone could give us some ideas that would be great.

It woulda helped if you had passed along the info on where Grand Terrace is located.
I've lived in CA for over 65 years, visited as many cities/towns as Huell Howser has, but I've never heard of Grand Terrace. I had to look for it on a map.
It's located south of the I-10, east of the 91 freeway between Colton and Riverside.
If you are comfortable parking at a truck stop, there is a TA Travel Center about 15 miles west of Grand Terrace. It's a big one, on both sides of the I-10.
Nolan, as other guys have mentioned above. You can stay at Walmart right off the 15fwy and Foothill blvd. That Walmart is open 24hours a day if you need a late snack or anything else. The TA is right off the 10freeway off Milliken just south. If I had a big property you guys would be welcome to stay with us, unfortunately I dont have that.
I hope I was of some help.
I've caught some zzzz's in truck stop lots a few times. Never felt unsafe as far as crime is concerned. There are always a lot of eyes around. But that is also the downside. Lots of noise too. I think the Flying-J has the best service for campers, but TA is always clean and well stocked too.
