I must be Google Map Challenged...I can't figure out how to add myself to the map.
So here is my alternate contribution...a new Google logo.
Still not approved for the group either
Come on guys, I don't suck that bad
Yeah the new chapter leader won't be "sworn" until Mid May, unless the present leader gets you on before then. You can still B.S. with the best of us until then. Damn, I can't un-oogle my eyes away from the GOOGLE
Not a member yet, but can one of the members add me to the Google map? I live in Austin. Oh yeah nice google pic. You could feed a litter of kittens for a week with those bad boys.
Thanks Robert, much appreciated. Are you guys planning on getting the Texas chapter together anytime soon? It would be pretty cool to get a chance to meet some of the members. Of course I gotta get my truck finished first! If you want check out the link to the place that is working with me on my truck. Pretty cool place, they let everyone work on their vehicles at the shop, plus the guy who owns the place throws swap meets, cookouts, etc,..from time to time. BIG DAM SCOOTERS - new cars in the shop look at them they are great looking.
Yep, Sometime in mid may or so, there is a thread about it. I think we are waiting to see how many can make it and what day and after the new leader gets elected.
Thanks Robert, yeah I have been working on the restoration since last August. Everyone is pretty cool out there and we all get together on the weekend to work our vehicles. If anyone needs help on anything we all pitch in so it is definitely a good overall experience. This is my first project like this so I am glad to have found a place like this. Not too many places out there will let you work at their shop and put in your own time on your vehicle. I pretty much focused all of my efforts on all the sanding, cleaning, and whatever painting I felt comfortable with (all the engine parts etc..). If you are every around the Austin area let me know and stop by for a beer. The actual shop is in Leander about 20 minutes or so outside of Austin. They get a ton of cool cars that come through the place. Right now there is my F100, 2 - 66 and 67 mustang convertibles, 68 camaro, 68 wildcat convertible, couple of GTO's, etc...out there.
sounds good to me. I get close sometimes when I visit the grandparents in Canyon Lake.
I did not get to go last year at all but will be going up there somtime this year when all the rugrats are out of school.
Wow, what a painfull experience. I gotta start boycotting Google.
OK. I managed to add myself to the map..... about six times. I can't delete myself and I wasn't able to use my name... only the address. (Please send beer...)
I should never attempt these things when I am tired and hungry.
Would someone who understands google's twisted logic, please save me from myself.
