Under the Expedition section, I posted a question about my factory stereo CD changer set up...
Either all on and fine, or all off and NO power what so ever.
When it goes, it goes. No clock, no lights nothing. Cannot even eject the magazine from the console mounted changer.
Wondering if there were any known/popular troubles...any ideas what to start looking at or for, or I guess I will just start opening up the dash and console, looking for suspicious stuff.

I would start simple. Replace the fuse, it may look okay, but I've seen fuses separate and act wildly until burning up. Then I would pull the radio and push the plug in tightly. If the radio has been out, it could be a poor contact in the plug.
Tried looking everything over that I could. Replaced any and all fuses that were listed as having anything to do stereo - wise. Looking like the "head unit"/receiver itself at this point. Much easier to access and remove each piece than I had anticipated. Still no fix though....
