Tapping Sound

I have a 1977 Ford F-250 SuperCab with a 460 engine and an automatic transmision. My truck has 460,000 miles on it. When I pull my 1963 26ft Airstream (about 5,000lbs) a strange tapping sound comes from the rear of the truck. It only happens (or at least I only hear it) at low speeds when I take my foot off the gas. I have no idea what this could be. Is it something to worry about? What could it be?

HI
I would think that you have a brinnelled wheel bearing. Just to be on the safe side, Id pull the drum and check it. GOOD LUCK

I wqould agree with Bigf150 and say it is a u-jiont going bad.
