it is tight. everything works great with the arm rest up. with the rest down it is hard to open or close. it is maybe a inch or less shorter than the arm rest are. i doubt ill ever use the arm rest again. at some point i may pull the arm rest and remove some of the insulation that would fix the problems i bet. love the console though

Great job with the pics. (took a little while to google it) I was needing to know what it looked like under the console without removing it - don't have the right tool at the moment. Now I know what to expect. Nice looking install. Good post. Thanks.

The floor under the console. I found some time yesterday to remove the console and run the coax for the antennas for my CB radio. Your photos showed me what I was in for. I didn't realize the console was so easy to remove. (I'm mounting the radio in front of the console on a homemade bracket) Thnx
