5.4 test
I would be curious if the 5.4 owners would do a test for me.
with the XP in Park, rev the engine to 1500 to 2000 rpms, focusing on 1600 to 1800 rpms.
do you feel a noticeable vibration in this range?

Yes! Mine has done this since I bought it. 99 EB XP. In addition while idiling after it has been running for a while I notice that the passenger seat shakes a little, very noticable if you watch the top of the seat. I brought it to the dealer twice and they said that nothing was wrong. I guess its some kind of balance problem. Anyway Ive got 52k now and it still does it.
My vibration is very very slight and apparently only I can see it
Anyway if your vibration is very noticable I would guess somthing else might be wrong. the 5.4l in the XP have had problems with a leaky hose over the #4 cyl that shorts out the coil. But, if this happens you WILL know that something is very wrong.

Well I ran your test with the motor "cold" and after driving and she is smooth as butter.
