i try not to do that. but it took her about a month to get used to the clutch. and your right tires are kind of spendy. goodthing mine are 14". all she does is drive it back and forth to work. 90% of the time i drive.
i try not to either. but it'll do it tho. i have drag raced my rig before. me and erin both have so i know it'll do it. i have hit the rev limiter before. i forgot to take the chip out of the msd box. but on the street i try not to do that.
Basically I took out the 460 and installed a 300-6. The thing was scary fast and the wife wouldn't drive it, and none of my friends would ride in it with me...lol
Was that because how fast the truck was or was it YOU driving?
my ex boss has a 900hp 460 in his f1. its quick! me and erin and our friend jack followed him down to woodburn one time. my ex boss beat a vette and a viper, i beat an s-10, erin ran off and left the same guy in the same s-10. those boys weren't happy. our buddy jack lost the first round. but won the second.
If I wanted to lay a patch of rubber,.......my 460 powered 2wd F-250 it the tire smokingest thing I have ever owned........I never had a muscle car that will smoke em' like that thing will!.........But since the new rubber, never again.
People in passenger cars feel they must race a big pick-up truck away from every light, cant stand to be behind you..........they are really tweaked out of shape when I show them my tailights!
My 6500lb f250 4x4 with the 5.8 really surprises me how hard it can pulls from a light just have to watch it at about 2000rpms it will break loose and try and get side ways and the tires where $250+ apiece I don't like smoking them.
chris you must have a posi spool in it if it does that. my ranger won't do that. i can chirp 2nd gear but it won't get sideways. its just a one wheel wonder. not a posi.

Limited slip rear end, I don't have to hammer on the clutch just let it out in second (skip first to low) grab third it will keep going might go longer but want to keep my tires and no tickets that can effect my employment.

I bet that would be impressive.
My cousin used to side step his 79 mustang cobra when he was ready to buy tires

The 5.8 Windsor is a underrated, heck of a motor........I would much rather have it than a 350 Chev. or a 360 Dodge. As much as I like the 302, the 351 is in a complete 'nother ball park.
