BIG BLOCK OR SMALL BLOCK FOR POWER??
Wondering what you guys would recommend for a 5k plus lb prerunner 77 F250, a Big or small block? Would be building on a budget as well and would obviously would build to last as long as possible. 460's do make nice TRQ and HP with minimal mods versus a small block 351 c or w and make there power at a lower rpm. Thoughts?

Use the power to weight ratio....... Big truck - little motor means more strain on moving parts plus more fuel, has to work harder...... Big Truck - big motor means more torque.... easy to pull big heavy loads, but we will be bias on large engines over here.
