01 rims oxidation

01 rims oxidation

Hey guys i have a 2001 ford ranger with the allumnium alloy wheels and they really started to oxidiae this year. Im not sure if the clear is startin to come off the rims or what the deal is. So if anyone has had this problem please tell me what you did to fix this. Oh ya and if anyone has a set of 16x8 in rims they would like to get rid of please post that too.

Mother's has some good cleaners for alloy wheels

Got any pictures? Do the wheels look like the Centerlines on my black truck?

Usually it's the oxidation starting under the clear coat and you can't clean it because it's under the coating and it just keeps going. Might be better if the coating was stripped off so you can clean and polish the bare metal once in a while.
