she needs a motor which a jasper is going to run me 3000 but has a good warranty my dad dont think its worth puting the motor into i like the truck and its not abad truck i just dont havethat cash laying around work wants me to come in but im not usingthe wifes explorer

That's a lot of $ to put into a '78.... unless the body and everything else is in tip-top shape! I think I'd find me a junkyard motor with a guarantee to run warranty. There's gotta be a lot of 'em around. Ask Charlie (Dusty) about where to look....I'm sure he could help you with some places.....

I've got a friend in Norfolk that has a junk yard. I can ask him to look if you let me know exactly what you need. I also know there's a junk yard in Brandywine (I think) right by the 5-301 split

i been looking at a few junk yard motors just trying to find one with a ok warranty i got the truck to work on and fix up with my son like we did to my dads truck just wasnt looking at puting in a motor right away
