Explorer/Aviator engine block heater

Anyone out there with a block heater on their V8 Explorer or Aviator (have all the components for the kit going in to my Aviator) have any ideas about the front mounting bracket (6G003) as shown?

The kit itself is discontinued, but I pieced it together from the original part numbers, just not exactly sure how to run the cord and how to mount the bracket that holds the plug. Guessing it mounts on one of the forward frame rails, but no luck in locating that point.

According to my manual that bracket seems to mount to the front bumper steel part behind the bumper cover/facia, accessable but not easily visible.

Finally figured it out, thanks. The Ford shop manual was no help, but did have someone e-mail a picture of the bracket on a Canadian Aviator. It sits further back than what I thought as well. Just had to look about six more inches back, and closer to the power steering cooler.

Glad to hear that you have it figured out.
