Did here. Last night was a white out. I saw about 4-5 inches of snow then and it was coming down like crazy when I went to bed. Then this morning, I went out to crank up the snowblower and it was down to about two inches.......... so I let it be. It's mostly gone now.
Not a bad day today. We had sun on & off. Typical spring in Northern Nevada. I heard a meteorologist on PBS the other day that he believes we are starting back into to a 30 year cycle. When I was a kid growing up in Northern Nevada this was the norm. I remember Donner Pass being closed weekly because of snow. I remember winds, & snow even worse than we have had.
My wife remembers snow in Smith Valley being 3 feet in winter. So we will see if that is what is going on.
How is everyone today? Craig, if that is the case I will be looking at moving south.
It is really refreshing to go to the parts store and having a knowledgeable and professional counter person. After going to the local parts store where if it is not a GM vehicle or a very common part it is a dealer only item, I went to the Checker Auto in Elko. I gave the counter guy the vehicle background of what I was doing and what I needed, he stated that he may know the part I need. He went to the racks and came back with the right part on the first try. We did have some trouble finding a heater outlet tube for the water pump though. Not from a lack of trying though. He went through five books and still came up empty.
