Edelbrock Identification ??
Hello to all,
I bought an Edelbrock Carb out of a local paper, The ad says it's a 800cfm. The number on the box is 1412,but i'm not certain that it's the original box..Is there a number somewhere on the carb itself to confirm identity? MUCH thanks, john

Edelbrock Identification ??
The Edelbrock web site says that the 1412 is an 800 cfm carb. I just installed an Edlebrock and it seems like there was a number stamped on it, maybe on the back or the air horn. It should be there some place.

The number 1412 and some other numbers would be stamped on the left front mounting flange, the numbers will face outward.
Or whatever other model it may be, the numbers are in the same place.
