34 EVAP Control system Fault/Voltage higher than closed limit
Is this the sensor on top of the EGR valve. Because i unpluged it and the code goes away and throws another code and the sensor buzzes when pluged in. Could that be causing a rough idle? Ive checked and have no vac leaks
Yes the EVP sensor is on top of the EGR valve. DTC 34 indicates the closed voltage is above .67 VDC. Make sure there is no vacuum being applied to the EGR valve when there isn't supposed to be any. I suspect the EVR may be faulty allowing vacuum through to the EGR valve at the wrong time. At idle there should be zero vacuum at the EGR valve. If there is, the EGR could be pulled off it's seat allowing a small vacuum leak into the intake.
Try pulling the vacuum line to the EGR valve and cap it. See if your idle improves.
