Hi, all. Thought I'd introduce myself to the 73-79 group. I just joined this forum and am looking for a 1974 F250. It's been a dream of mine for a while - 74 is my birth year and I love the old Ford trucks. Finally got to test drive one today - a nice lime green and white F250 2WD. Unfortunately, I needed a fair amount of work, and I'm not the guy for that. Drove great though. Just didn't stop real well, and had oil leaking out of many places in the engine. Hoping to find one already restored (at least mechanically), but not modified from the original Ford look.

Good to have you. Hope you have years of enjoyment on this site. If you like the original 74's check out my pics in the garage BLACK BEAUTY it is all original with 53000 orig miles on it and for the most part looks like the day it was bought except for the mirrors and the rims

 

Definitely a beauty. Now to find one like THAT for sale!!

 

Check e-bay I'v seen a few there that were original. and craigslist.
