I have not tried the display invert yet, thanks I'll try that.
Did scan for codes and got P1111, all OK. Warm fuzzy feeling.
On mine EOT is always about 10* to 15* lower than IAT on cold start up.
Programmed warning lights to come on if battery voltage is below 12.3 volts. Works as GPR on time indicator.
I really need to spend more time with mine then cause I have no clue how to set the warning lights or to slow down the display. I did try the invert and didn't like the look, but that's just me.

To slow down the display in Setup go to "Data Rate" option, use left button to change the number from 1-6. 1 being the fastest and 6 the slowest. I select 4.
To program the warning lights, just for fun and experience try this ...
In Setup go to the "ANNUNCIATOR" option.
Select "P1" one parameter option.
*Note: you can select P1 -P2 option and AND / OR them.
Select "Battery Volts"
Hard part .. using buttons enter "012.3" , or whatever you want.
Select "Below"
That's it. Took me three tries to get it right. Whenever the GPR is on those two LED's are bright red. I'm sure I did not get the wording exactly right ..
WARNING !!! If you go back into setup and change anything you have to reprogram the annunciator again ...
Well in this OFFICIAL William´s THREAD, I want to comment that I havent installed the gauge (very bussy), just read the instructions and I have some questions:
I read that if you dont drive the truck in more than 5 days you have to unnplug the gauge. Is that true?, what happens if you dont unnplug it?.
I ask this because my truck is not a DD, just on weekends or monthly.
Surely this is a dumb question, but I have to ask: to set up the gauge you have to have the engine running? or just the keys ON?.
BTW with the info written here, Im doing a copy to make a little manual.

Yes, you can set it up with the key on and engine not running.
I don't think it's a problem leaving the gauge plugged in if it powers off when you turn the key off. That's mostly for gas engines with 1 battery, IMO.

Thanks Jim. I also think that you have to unnplug it if you needed the optinonal switch for the 12 V and you forget to unswitch it.
Have any body done the CCT and buzz test? or any tranny tests? or getting some tranny codes?
Jim, IIRC, you mounted yours on the pillar. Do you know have a problem with the sun hitting it and can't see it? I do and I'm thinking about trying to make a wrap around little shade of some kind. Even with the colors inverted I have to drop my sunglasses to see it and if the sun is just right, I can't see it at all.

Jose, some have done the CCT and Buzz but I have not yet. Really no auto transmission test but you can monitor real time temperature down to a tenth of a degree. You can also watch which gear you are in ..
1 = first
2 = second
3 = third
4 = overdrive.
I don't have any stored codes, P1111. If you are asking if it will pull tranny codes if there is a problem I don't know, hope so.

I wanted the green display because was going to mount it in the dash but that option quickly went away. If I had to do it over I would chose another color, maybe "blue". It is hard to see in bright sun but my glasses darken automatically so it's not a major issue. I should of spent a bit more money and got a pod with the shade option thing. Live and learn ...

Thanks Jim, let me know when you have done the CCT and buzz test. And yes Im asking if it will pull tranny codes when a problem is present, and also hope so.
Can you explain what are you talking when you said to got a pod with the shade option thing? I havent heard about that option. I was thinking to put it in a pillar pod like you did, but Im living and learning.
