Prodigy Help

I started getting intermittent messages on the display coming home this weekend. SH (Short) and PL (Power Loss). Then the unit would start working again. Seems like when it is working and I am on the brakes for awhile while stopping, I loose trailer braking. Checked for broken wires and I cleaned the trailer plug. Do I have a bad unit or? It is only 2 years old.

Best bet is to contact the manufacturer. They back their product very well. You'll have to check your paperwork for the 800 phone #. Or Google for it

Check for grounds at rotors on trailer. I had exact problem and found a dirty connection, that I respiced and never had problem again. I have that controller and never had a problem. 5yrs and running. Good luck!
