axle interchangability(74-68)?
Will the axle shafts from a 74 fit in a 68? Both 2WD 1/2 ton.

I have a bent axle in my truck and I have a 74 parts truck.

Please help!

axle interchangability(74-68)?
The rear axle on the 67-72 rigs are a couple inches narrower. You could take a whole rear from a 73-79. I think you may have to move the spring perches, but im not sure.

OK, just wondering.

I have another rear assy out of a '70, but its got some broken wheel studs, I'll just replace them.
