I had the same problem, and suspected it was a cop. A simple trip to autozone pulled up the code as for which cylinder was the issue. Installed a new cop, and problem gone.

I wash mine

I am carefull not to dwell on any sensitive parts when I PRESSURE WASH my engine and it works out fine. Not even a miss. I sealed a couple boots with sealer a while back and all is well.

i used to have a 06 blue screw 5.4 same thing. ford put silicone around where the plugs are. common problem they said...

it pissed me off!!!!
5.4s biggest fault
