According to the shop manual, the F1 came with either 4.27 or 3.92 gears. The F2's had 4.11's. You might measure your axle housing in case someone swapped rear ends already. The F2 had a 3" axle housing where the F1's measure 2.5" if I remember right.
This will make a difference when you go to order parts.
Another option is to use a 9" differential from 57-72 F100. Same axle length - nearly bolt-in swap and probably can be done cheaper than the $250 for new gears. The axle housing also measures 3" - same as the F2 stock.
