87 F150 302 2WD auto Won't run!
I got water in both tanks. About 5 miles after fill-up, it died. I've since done some things and I've been able to get it started at times, usually after sitting for a while. It will run roughly, then idle for 1 to 10 minutes. If I give it gas, it chugs and dies. Same if I try to put any load on it (such as move it under its own power).
I've drained the lines
Used the tank pumps to pump the bottom of the tanks into a jug.
Changed filter twice.
put 2 cans of water absorber (Heet) in each tank.
Recently changed plugs (500 miles or so).
I haven't checked the main pump pressure, but it was running fine before; and I have no pressure gage.
I didn't remove the tank selector to dump it, but flushed it with tank pressure
Any suggestions? I'm at a loss.
(I'm working on addressing the gas station, but that's another story.)
Thanks in advance.

If it ran fine before you got water in the tanks, and it's not running fine now, then the most likely problem is that you still have water somewhere in the system.
If you ground the #6 pin in the EEC test relay, the pumps will run continuously. I would start with an empty tank (siphon it if you have to), fill it with fresh gas, and pop one of the return lines off. Pump a gallon or two out, hook it back up, and see if it runs now. If so then you're going to have to do it to the other tank too.
