Autozone's site has some diagrams, not much. Best thing you can do is pull the dimmer switch from the floor and check for voltage with the headlight switch on. There should be 3 wires. One is incoming from the headlight switch, and the other two are outgoing to the headlights, one low and the other high.
If you do not have any voltage down at the dimmer, you know the problem is upstream and you can start looking at the headlight switch.
If you have voltage coming in, none going out, you know the dimmer switch is bad. If you have voltage coming in and going out, you know the problem is downstream from the switch out to the headlights.
