Fuel pumping problems
Hey guys. I have this problem with both tanks. When i try to fuel up. I cant lock the nozzle on the pump and let it go. It clicks off. The only way i can fuel up is if i hold it myself and pump it really slow. it happens no matter what station im at. What can cause this? vent tube? fill tube? And how can i fix it. Its not a huge deal but it takes me a while to fill up both tanks

Let's see how well I can explain this.
Inside your filler tube you have a 1 inch hose, that the fuel flows down. The vent is the rest of your fill tube.
What I did was, I pulled that smaller hose out. Then I took that vent off that's on the top of the tank and stuffed a rubber hose in it and ran it up higher then the filler neck. I also hammered the filler nozzle until the flange bent down enough to get the bigger filler's at the truck stops to fit. If you do this you have to be careful not to spray fuel all over when the tank get's full.

Try this.
Fuel tank vent mod
One of the little links I bring to you from the Stroke world.
Jim has nice pictures to show what he is doing, much better than trying to explain with words.
