1992 f150 trans problem
Just bought a 1992 F150 with 5.0 and auto trans.I bought the truck knowing that the trans had a shifting problem.As I was driving out of the sellers driveway,the trans slipped out of gear and came to a stop,would not move until I pulled it down into 1st and then it went into gear fine,as I picked up speed,I pulled it minto 2nd and so on.As it warmed up,the trans problem got better.The truck has alot of miles and I bought it knowing these problems,just wondering,does this sound like the trans is completely shot or could there be a different fix?Thanks
