Buzzing sound

Buzzing sound
I have an 89 F-150 4X4, with a 5.0. I drove it today and after i parked it i heard a low buzzing or humming sound, was not loud anywhere, but was loudest near the right rear tire. I started the truck and turned it on and off several times but nothing effected the buss. Had to disconnect the battery cable to stop the sound. It could be heard inside and outside the truck. Anyone have an idea as to the culprit and a possible solution.

I hooked the battery back up again today and i still had the buzz. i drove the truck a short distance and used the brake a couple of times, then shut it down and the buzzing was gone. Do you have a suggestion as to whether something needs to be replaced or can i safely wait for something to fail before i start replacing parts. Brakes worked as usual?
