Hello Spencer Aych (H). Welcome to FTE.
That is a pretty open ended question. Before anyone can give you an opinion as to what is best, you need to supply some information as to what you expect from your truck and how you use it.
As an example, someone who participates in truck pulls would have a vastly different answer to that question than someone who is trying to squeeze 25 MPG out of his Power Stroke.
The general consensus on this forum is if you're going to spend some money to put a new tune in your truck, get yourself a custom tune.
well i am mainly a daily driver, but i will occassionally take my truck to the strip. i pull a trailer on occasion and occassionally take it into the mud for a little swim. im looking in the $500 - $700 price range. im looking for best the best bang for my buck on hp and low end torque, but dont want it to force me constantly be going back to the pump. thanks for any help
I would agree with redford. Get an XCal III & custom tunes from a known, trusted, and highly-regarded tuner (person).
Rather than endorsing one over the other, I will simply suggest that you do some searches here in the Super Duty forum, and further down in the 6.0L forum. You will see a couple of names/companies mentioned, and feedback on their customer service & their tunes.

Typically what is done is that you buy the device(X3 only, I wouldn't their other products at this time), then that device is shipped to you. You hook it up to your vehicle extract the strategy from your vehicle. Email the person that does your tuning, give them your strategy and all relevant info with regard to what you want in your tuning. Later(how much later will vary) you'll receive an email with your tunes attached. Load them onto your device, plug device in and upload your tunes to your vehicle and enjoy.
I would also advice you to save a copy of your stock tune on your computer as well in case something goes hinky down the road. It doesn't happen often, but better be prepared.
