We recently returned from our first trip with our "new to us" 2008 F250 Crew Cab towing the 5th wheel and I noticed that periodically while scrolling through the message center (distance to empty, avg fuel economy, etc) messages, I noticed another message that I am not sure what it means:
TBC Gain = 0.0
Output =
This is only while the trailer is plugged in. The Integrated Brake Controller appeared to work fine - had the gain set at 4 or 5 and while sliding the manual lever, the controller registered (the bars lit up) and also lit up when applying the brake pedal.
Does anyone know what the TBC Gain message above means though? Can't seem to find anything in the owners manual for this one.
So Sam, which truck do you like driving better the '55 or the '08? :-)
man what a completely different universe..
the 55 is fast & fun.. the 08 will tow 8 tons and not blink an eye.. ( really never want to put anything in the bed of the 55.. with its shiny finish).
