My orange highboy...Here is the thread about the redneck paintjob! https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...boy-build.html
My brothers wrecked 79 F150 that is undergoing a resto...
I still like Ed's big orange '75 the best though! The OP's truck is very nice too...of course orange is my favorite color, so all these trucks are sweet!

What's the story on your rig? How many miles, engine, trans, any upgrades?

Pretty good guess! I'm in Leavenworth, about 22 miles west of Wenatchee, and about three hours from Kennewick.
My truck's a little over 147K on the original 300-six and 4-spd. Everything's pretty much stock configuration, nothing fancy, with no AC. It still has the AM "Aeronutronic" pushbutton radio!
The white-spoke wheels and slider rear window came the first year I had it. The toolbox, rail caps, etc. were added as the years went by, as was a receiver hitch. The bedliner's original Ford.
No real upgrades are needed or anticipated. I have a "to do" list of normal maintenance and wear-and-tear items. I recently replaced the windshield, carb, ignition, starter, shocks, and tires. Am looking at replacing the door and window molding, and having the seat replaced or recovered. I also have a replacement for the rubber flooring (have had it in the box for ten years) that will be done last.
The rig's a daily driver, and really takes me back when I get behind the wheel!

If you wouldn't mind, could you get some pictures of the inside to show us? I'm interested in the seat cover. If you have it recovered, will you match the original?
Thanks!
