i have a 72 f-250 4x4 and the holes for the screws that hold the tailight lens on, are wallowed out some. the screws will not tighten down. is there anyway i could repair the holes while keeping the factory fasteners?
All I can think of to weld up the holes and retap new ones.
Or make the holes bigger and put in plastic inserts like the newer cars have for liscense plate screws. You know the plastic inserts that go into the square holes on steal bumpers.

The taillight lenses, bodies, gaskets, screws, bulbs and etc are the same as:
For kicks & giggles you might take the bucket out, get it on something flat and try hammering the hole area flat in case the hole has been pulled inward and enlarged.
