I need to replace my radiator support, anyone have a step by step knowledge of how to do it? the engine and radiator are out of the truck right now. thanks
I just looked at everything that was connected to it and took it off in the order that i could get to it. Start by taking off the grill and the plastic trim above it. Take out the battery and i even took out the battery holder.
Other things that need to come off (in no particular order):
- Headlights
- Coolant and washer res.
- Hood catches
- hood latch
- corner pieces on either side that connect it to the fenders
- tranny cooler
- and of corse the main bolts (2) on the bottom.
I may have missed some stuff but it really isnt that hard. Just keep taking stuff off until it comes out. I used 8 and 10mm sockets for just about everything. Be sure to take pics and bag all of the bolts and lable where they came from.
