new cam
I have a 90 f-150 5.0 4x4 with a moter from a 88 crown vic in it. It ahs a roller cam. What is the "nastiest" cam i can install without going to mass air ? What are the specs of the stock cam from a 88 crown vic ?

I am not sure on the specs for the cam in a Crown vic.
As for the speed density efi, I am pretty sure that you you have to stay pretty mild on the cam. No more than, perferably less than, .500" lift and duration only a few points higher than the stock cam. It also needs around 114* LS. The cam should not change the manifold pressure too drastically.
Then again there are some pretty wild setups with SD efi, making good hp.
Edelbrocks MPI system is speed density and is good for up to 400 hp. Get a custom program burnt for your stock ecm and you could run whatever you want (in theory I guess)!
