Overhead Console
On the digital display that shows you your MPG or Mile to Empty, there is a box to the right that looks like it should display some sort of information. Can anyone tell me what it is supposed to display? When I look closely at it, I see where digits (numbers) would likely show.

Its probably where the compass used to be. The reason I say this is that someone probably had an aftermarket rearview mirror installed that displays both the outside temp and has a compass. Thats what I did to my '98 but in the process they had to disconnect the overhead compass. It was done by a Ford dealer and it is standard procedure.
