Today a Pendot truck was center/left,went as far right as possible, and it finally happened.I don"t tow much anymore and was not a real big fan of the mirrors on my sled anyway.Any one replace their towing mirrors with the smaller types? My 03 F250 has the ones with the lights and such and I see they go for about 240.00 each.I would really like to replace both with the smaller Ford mirrors,Any ideas?
Yes you can down grade easy with the smaller mirrors if you choose. However, I had them and really couldnt see that great even if I wasnt towing, but it could have been just me haha.
I have pretty much searched the internet sites, and find I am at a crossroad,Any ideas on finding just the orange lens cover for the mirror, seems everyone wants to sell the whole assembly.
You can get the blinker covers in all different colors, orange, clear or tinted. They range around 89$ shipped for both of them. I am planning on removing my orange ones and putting the tinted ones on, eventually.
Totally sorry bra, forgot to put the link off ebay. Bogus...dude went up in price too .....to 99$ intead. But I believe he has all different colors, you just need to ask.

I feel your pain. At less than three months old, one of our imported wage undercutters swung wide and clipped my driver's side tow mirror with his passenger side tow mirror. I was lucky though. Mine just got slapped forward as his folded back. I too would like mirrors that don't stick out like a washer and dryer set while not towing. They sure are nice with the 5th wheel though... PITA in parking garages and crowded loading docks.

I haven't seen anyone selling the lenses in amber -- Recon has them in smoke and clear.
I need just the pair of lenses and $94 (the best price I have seen) for a pair of plastic lenses doesn't make me overjoyed but I'm considering the Recon smoke lenses just to get something on there. From the pictures I've seen, the clear lenses seem ugly and the smoke lenses seem to filter the light more than I care for.
If you do decide to replace your amber lenses, please let me know.
I ordered a set of smoked from recon, look ok however I dont like the way they fit.Seens like they are not as well made as i Thought.Called them and they suggested I shim the butterfly clips to make them fit tighter. This caused the butterfly clip to break. Not real happy with the product.
